This policy explains how the internal tools at tools.nzfw.app ("the tools"), run by NZ Filter Warehouse ("NZFW", "we", "us"), handle data, including data we get through Google APIs. The tools are only for internal NZFW use and aren't offered to the public.
What we access
The Google Ads Reporting Assistant can view, but never change, the
Google Ads account that an authorised NZFW team member connects.
This uses Google's read only advertising access, technically named
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords, which covers
account, campaign and performance reporting data. It can't create,
change, or delete anything in the connected Google Ads account.
How we use it
Data from Google Ads is only used to answer the question the NZFW team member asked, for example summarising how a campaign is performing. We do this through our internal AI assistant. It isn't used to build advertising profiles, and it isn't used for anything beyond the request that pulled it up.
How long we keep it
When you ask a question, we send the request to Google, get the answer, and pass it straight back to you. We don't keep a separate, long term copy of your Google Ads data ourselves. The answer may stay in our internal assistant's chat history, the same way any other message would, so the team can look back on earlier conversations. This all stays within NZFW's own systems.
Sharing
We never sell, rent, or share data from Google APIs with anyone outside NZFW. The only place it goes is back and forth with Google itself, since Google is who provides it.
Limited Use disclosure
NZFW's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Any authorised user can revoke this tool's access to their Google account at any time from their Google Account permissions page.
